Lets just blame mother technology and leave it at that! things are as hectic as ever here at Damascus and since last chatting to you there have been four additions to our kitty clan! (Like when I’ve just raked up a heap of leaves and suddenly they are evenly distributed all over the garden!) One minute the sun is still warm on the skin and the next you find yourself walking into a tree because you can’t see a thing! The minute you sit down someone will leap on you and turn you into a bed! When you bring your pets to me, they become mine in my heart. It takes us back to brighter years, to happier sunlit days and to precious moments that will be with us always. And these fond recollections are treasured in the heart to bring us always close to those from whom we had to part. Naturally the cats all enjoy the new coolness- they come prancing in with damp dewy feet! It just reaffirms the fact that you should make your pet bookings when you make your own! Amazing how people are willing to put down deposits which they may be required to forfeit, for themselves, but not for their animals. The human race will never cease to boggle my brain! On another note, over here on our patch of the planet it has been unbelievably hot and dry. So Nessy will be meeting my vet soon for his first inoculations (then he won’t talk to me for the rest of the day!) In the meantime Damascus has been nonstop busy and December bookings are coming in fast and furious. The only ones who seem totally unphased are the birds! The orchestral maneuvers wafting in through my bedroom window are magnificent! Pretty soon I’ll find myself on the sofa and the bed will be theirs!lol! All that happens is a sticky smelly mess and dead plants. It kills them and discourages them and they go away! Just a quicky to let you all know there is a new page! It will be filled with kitty wisdom, silliness and the odd moment of utter brilliance! His name is Scraps, and he was found all alone in the middle of nowhere on the side of the road. Now Scraps is very spoilt, has a zillion siblings, has been innoculated and is living the good life. While your precious feline friend is staying with us you can rest assured that he or she (or they!) Menus are personalised to the individual requirements of each pet and remember, no cat is too old or too young. At night your pet will have soft beds, fluffy pillows and as many warm blankets as he wants.
